Sports Broadcaster

2013

In 2013 I performed my first ever broadcast in my home town of Aurora, MO. I covered the girls and boys basketball teams in their district games doing both play-by-play and color commentary.

Sports Broadcaster

Present

In the fall of 2015 I broadcasted six high school football games for my hometown Aurora, MO. I was paid to do these games as well. I have also broadcasted multiple football and basketball games at my current school Missouri Southern Sate University for the school's television station KGCS TV. I am also presently a co host on my hometown sports talk show "The Talking Dawgs" in Aurora, MO in association with www.houndawgsports.com. I have been a co host since February of 2015. In 2017 I launched my own sports talk show called "What's Your Point?" which includes over 40 episodes and thousands of views on Facebook.

In all I have broadcasted multiple baseball, basketball, and football games at the high school and college level.

Sports Edge Contest

Present

In October of 2015 I sent in my application to a contest held in Joplin, MO which involved the ESPN Radio Joplin Sports Edge talk show in the form of an audio clip. I was chosen as one of the 5 finalists and am currently competing with others to win a spot as a cohost for the show.

In the Summer of 2018, I will be involved in an internship with Fox Sports Joplin.

Education

Missouri Southern State University

Present

I will be graduating from Missouri Southern State University in December of 2018. I will obtain a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in sports broadcasting. My classes include many different forms of communication as well as public relations.
